Baking Classes & DIY Baking Classes

Hi everyone,

Just a few more weeks to CNY 2020. How's New Year preparation going on? I bet you are all ready and can't wait to welcome the start of a great New Year.

Today, I would like to share with you some unique concepts baking store which don't sell baking supplies rather they offer baking classes.

So far, I have come to know that there are two store baking stores who specialize in baking classes. More precisely, Do-It-Yourself (DIY) baking class. Wonder how it works? The store would have a selection of menu of which you can choose to bake (by yourself) with assistance from the store assistant. Ingredients and tools are all supplied.

#1: Bake For Fun
They offer DIY classes on most days unless if they are having special events or classes.
Apart from that, they also sells full moon gift package, CNY gift sets etc.
Operating Hours: 11am to 7pm (Wed to Sun)

#2: JAN'S Baking Studio and Cafe
They offer baking classes but I don't think it's available everyday. I believe prior arrangement is needed.
Operation Hours: 11am to 10pm (Tues to Sun)
Location: 10, Jalan Rahmat 3, Taman Malim Jaya, 75250 Melaka

I find this a very interesting concept. It works so well for people who wish to try out baking or simply just a casual baker that do not wish to store excess baking supplies at home.

UPDATED: Baking Ingredients Supplies Store in Malacca

It has been a really long time I didn't update my blog. Many changes had happened in my life with two new members in my family. 

So, today's post is all about Baking Supplies Store in Malacca. Without realizing, there seems to be an increasing demand for baking supplies store in Malacca. If you did check out my last post (like 7 years ago), there were only 2 stores. And now, there are a lot more which I would like to share today.

I am making a list for the ease of viewing.

#1: Bake With Yen 
Just opened recently and being a chain, there have a huge variety of products and longer operating hours.
Operating Hours: 9am to 9pm (Open Daily)
Location: 13, Jln KSB 11, Taman Kota Syahbandar, 75200 Melaka

#2: King Hin (New branch - Kota Laksamana)
King Hin has been operating for very long and now they have several branches including the latest ones in Kota Laksamana.
Operating Hours: 9am to 6pm (Mon to Sat), 10am to 5pm (Sun)
Location: 13 & 15, Jalan KLJ6, Taman Kota Laksamana Jaya, 75200 Malacca

#3: Yami Bake Ingredient House
Didn't had a very pleasant experience in this store. They have a lot of products (price on the higher end) but the service isn't great.
Operating Hours: 10am to 9pm (Open Daily)

#4: Fun Bake
Operating Hours: 9am to 7pm (Mon to Sat), 9am to 6pm (Sun)
Location: No.11, 11-1, Jalan IKS M1, Taman IKS Merdeka, Melaka, 75350 Batu Berendam

#5: Amiplus
Operating Hours: 9am to 6.30pm (Mon to Sat)
Location: 42-42A, Jalan MP 10, Taman Merdeka Permai, 75350 Batu Berendam, Melaka

#6: Love Baking Ingredients House
Operating Hours: 10am to 7pm (Mon to Sat; CLOSE on Tuesday), 10.30am to 5pm (Sun)
Location: 70, Jalan Rahmat 1, Taman Malim Jaya, 75250 Malim Jaya, Melaka

#7: Bakers Choice Ingredients Store
Operating Hours: 10am to 7pm (Mon to Fri), 10am to 5pm (Sat)'
Location: Behind Public Bank Melaka Baru No.11, Melaka 5, Jalan Mutiara Melaka 2, Taman Mutiara Melaka, 75350 Batu Berendam, Melaka

Personally, my primary choice would be King Hin if I am only looking for common baking supplies. But if I am looking for unique and rare found products, I would go for Bakers Choice. Not only that they carry those unique stuffs, the bosses are friendly too and very responsive on Facebook page.
